A Look Back on 2016
We take a look back on 2016 - our achievements, where we've been, and how we feel happened good throughout the year, and what could have gone better.
Things To Do in Bratislava: By a Local
I’ve never heard of anything like it before, and yet it plays such an important figure in my life now that I know my husband was born and raised there. When he first took me to Bratislava in April 2015 on my first Central Europe visit, I did not know what to expect. Maybe just hints of the old communist world of tenement houses, and a bit of European charm. This article aims to give you the best of Bratislava and the things to do within the city: all from a local’s point of view (of course, we visited most of the touristy spots, but you get my drift). Schengen Visa Application for Philippine Passport (for Free)
Marrying a European meant that we do have to go to Europe every now and again to visit family or just go sightseeing. The problem with that is, I need to get a Schengen visa since I have a Philippine passport. Not to worry, did you know you can get a free Schengen visa application with a Philippine passport? This is what we did with our 25 vacation days: A summary of the places we visited, including Foreign Countries, U.S. States, and U.S. Cities: Foreign Countries – Jamaica, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic…
A European Castle Proposal
I proposed to Ruby on April 20, 2015, in a historic European castle. In a small town. In a small country. In true fairytale fashion, she said yes, and fireworks blasted into the sky! Ok, so there were no fireworks, but she did say yes, and yet that proposal was a month in the making, and almost didn’t happen. Not even Ruby knows the full story, so this is the first time I’ll be revealing the behind the scenes look at “The European Castle Proposal”. Step 1: The Ring Obviously, for a proposal to work, the guy has to buy (or make) a ring! If you’re not Ron Swanson…
