Funny how our little baby’s arrival in the world changed our schedule! By the time we got back from the hospital, we had a whole lot of packages (and mail) waiting for us, so a backlog came up for product reviews!
Nevertheless, here’s a (delayed) review of the Ghostbed sheets we received. With a newborn, finding time to unpack stuff and do laundry can take ages, but here’s an honest and unbiased review of the product. Do note that we received this product for free in exchange for a review.
Since we just moved to a new house a few months ago, we upgraded our bed from a full to a king bed in anticipation of our little one as well. With it, we needed new sheets, and when this opportunity came, why not?
The ordering process was easy, you just go on to the website, pick a colour (they only had gray or white at the time so I picked gray – it would have been better if there were more colour options), pick the size of the bed that you have, put your shipping and payment details in (they have free shipping) and tadah! The new sheets will arrive in your front door within a few days.
In our case, I gave birth earlier than expected so while we received our order on the day that they promised, we were not home to bring the boxes in and my in-laws graciously did that when they arrived in our house in Jacksonville after they found out I gave birth (they arrived 2 days after we went to the hospital).
Anyway, back to our review – the sheets are a tad bit expensive, at around $200+ for a king size (free shipping though!) So it is branded as a high end product, and something to keep in mind budget-wise as you can get cheaper alternatives out there, especially now that Black Friday is coming up.
The sheets are compatible with the Ghostbed memory foam mattress as well as the Ghostbed mattress protector, which we also got a chance to review. Of course, these sheets are compatible to any bed you may have, as long as you buy the right size, that is!
Ultimately, it is up to you guys to decide if this product is for you. I am not a sheet expert and do not know the sleep difference between sheets made from bamboo, cotton or silk, as well as thread counts. All I know is that there are many choices out there, and you’ll all have to make our own choice if you prefer quality over price.
