Ultimate Shopping Guide to Sheboygan Wisconsin

Here’s our ultimate shopping guide to Sheboygan, Wisconsin to help you narrow down the places you can get the best souvenirs and cool finds to remind you of your trip.

I’ve divided the areas into the downtown area and the lakefront area so you won’t spend much time driving around the place. It will also make it easy for you to decide if you would want to stay by the lakefront (highly recommended) or downtown.

Downtown Area Shopping in Sheboygan, Wisconsin

The downtown area of Sheboygan has indie shops and restaurants. It’s so fun to see downtown as vibrant as Sheboygan’s, with small businesses dotting the streets. It makes it a fun stop to shop and peruse what the stores offer. Here’s a list of shops in the downtown area of Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Shopping at Sheboygan Visitors Center

Address: 826 S 8th St Ste 1, Sheboygan, WI 53081
Hours: Tuesday – Friday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm; Saturday – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm; Closed on Sundays and Mondays
What to buy: hoodies, sweaters, and accessories

The Sheboygan Visitor Center is in the middle of downtown and the lakefront area, but is worth a stop not only to shop but to see the Science on a Sphere Exhibit. This is a permanent exhibit of a large sphere, and it projects planets, weather information, and more. You can customize the sphere during your visit: see cloud patterns, airplanes flying around the world, historical weather data, and so much more. This is presented by the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). You know, the website you go to when tracking hurricanes (at least in Florida!)

Like any visitor center, one can get a wealth of information from the locals on where to go and eat, but the goodies you can buy there are fun!

I had a chance to get a hoodie from the Visitor Center and the design is super cute. They change up the designs every so often, with older styles going on clearance. Perfect for those on a budget and may need a sweater, not knowing how Sheboygan can get cold, even in the summer!

Freaktoyz: Unique Collectibles Store in Sheboygan Wisconsin

Address: 520 N 8th St, Sheboygan, WI
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday 9 am to 6 pm. Monday 12nn to 6 pm, Sundays 11 am to 4 pm
What to buy: pop culture collectibles and

Freaktoyz sells gaming and pop culture items under one roof. You must be mindful of your budget with so many collectibles, toys, and video games available in one spot.

There are rows of stuffed animals, Funko pops, and even little crane games you can play with. It is so much fun perusing around the aisles and limiting myself to a budget for what I can buy.

Victorian Chocolate Shoppe

Address: 519 S 8th St, Sheboygan, WI
Hours: Monday to Saturday 9:30 am to 5 pm, closed Sundays
What to buy: chocolate-covered raspberries, nostalgic candy, and Harry Potter Butterbeer-flavored candy

The Victorian Chocolate Shoppe is a gem if you like chocolate and candy. Their gourmet chocolate is inside the glass, and there are so many varieties it’s hard to decide what to get.

The best part for me is the nostalgic and branded candies. If you’re a fan of the Harry Potter series and love butterbeer, you can take home a pack (or more) of chocolate butterbeer. You can even get Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans and Jellybean butterbeer beans.

Olivu 426

Address: 502 N 8th St, Sheboygan, WI
Hours: Monday to Friday 10:30 am to 5 pm, Saturday 10:30 am to 3 pm, closed Sundays
What to buy: lip balm, lotions, and other body care items

Olivu is an interactive shop where you can create your own scented body products. If you don’t have time to create your own scent, they have ones prepared with scents you can get.

The story behind Olivu 426 is heartwarming. It started as a passion project: making lip balms and lotions for the owner’s boyfriend, who was recovering from burns. Since burned skin needs natural products, and the owner can’t find the items she needs, she created them herself.

The lip balm is so smooth and the lotions smell heavenly. Pop by their store for the all natural body products that you need.

Stefano’s Slo Food Market

Address: 731 Pennsylvania Ave, Sheboygan, WI
Hours: Monday to Saturday 8 am to 7 pm, Sunday 9 am to 3 pm
What to buy: fresh cheeses, meat, and other food items

Stefano’s Slo Food Market has a huge deli to get cheeses and other meat. They also have a great bakery with freshly baked goods and bread. In an organic fix? They also have it on one of their aisles. The convenient downtown location makes it an easy stop to pick up food while perusing the downtown shops.

Relish Kitchen Store

Address: 502 N 8th St, Sheboygan, WI 53081
Hours: Daily from 10 am to 5 pm
What to buy: any items related to the kitchen!

Relish Kitchen Store is a small business that sells anything kitchen-related. From pots, pans, spatulas, kitchen utensils, and decor, they’ve got it all. I’m not a kitchen person per se, but Suzy, my travel buddy for this part of the trip, has a video over on her site with some of the gems that they have in store.

Revolution Resale

Address: 709 N 8th St, Sheboygan, WI 53081
Hours: Wednesday 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday 9 am to 5 pm

This thrift store is only open two days a week with limited hours, so plan accordingly. Unfortunately, I happened to visit on one of the days when the store is closed. The store sells donated items and is one of the best thrifting spots in town. On top of the already affordable prices, they also have sales, where you can get clothing for as low as $1, or buy one get one offers for certain rotating categories they may have going on.

Nikki’s Nex 2 New

Address: 1019 N 8th St, Sheboygan, WI 53081
Hours: Weekdays 10 am to 5 pm, Saturday 9 am to 5 pm, Sunday 10 am to 2 pm.

Another convenient spot to thrift is Nikki’s Nex 2 New. This is a consignment store that sells clothing, accessories, and footwear. Since I didn’t have enough space in my suitcase, I left the store empty-handed, but the prices are fairly reasonable for a consignment shop, and would definitely consider making it a thrifting stop when in town.

Lakefront Area Shopping in Sheboygan, WI

If you’re staying in Sheboygan’s Lakefront area, most specifically at the Blue Harbour Resort, here are a few shops that are an easy walking distance from the hotel. These are stores I’ve visited and vetted myself and they’re one of my favorite shopping stops in Sheboygan!

Happy Rocks & Jewelry

Address: 530 S Pier Dr, Sheboygan, WI 53081
Hours: Mondays to Saturdays 10 am to 6 pm, closed Sundays
What to buy: semi-precious stones, uncut rocks, and even uncut gems

My friend Suzy convinced me to go inside the store, and I’m glad she did! Happy Rocks and Jewelry is a fun shop that sells semi-precious stones and jewelry. We must have spent a good hour creating necklaces, and rings, and even buying a few rocks to bring home. It’s a great place to stock up on semi-precious stones that you can use for jewelry creations and as fidget rocks. The prices are great, and it’s so fun going through the store since you just don’t know what you’re going to find.

Inklings Used Books

Address: 538 S Pier Dr, Sheboygan, WI 53081
Hours: Wednesday to Saturday 10 am to 3:30 pm
What to buy: books and more books, of course

Used bookstores are my Achilles’ heel when it comes to shopping. I’m glad we managed to go to this used bookstore, given the limited hours that they’re open out-of-season. There are so many used books each shelved in their own genre and category. My favorite books to look for are vintage and antique children’s and history books. I had to stop myself from buying more than 2 books because of limited luggage space. You can sell some of your books for store credit, which makes it a great way to get books on the cheap while decluttering some space if you live in the area.

Blue Harbour Resort’s Souvenir Shop

Address:725 Blue Harbor Dr, Sheboygan, WI 53081

If you don’t have time to go shopping anywhere and you’re staying at the Blue Harbor Resort, head to the gift shop. They also have great hoodies and other branded items available in the store. There are accessories and other souvenir items like magnets available in the store. Since it’s located in the lobby, it’s so easy to pop over and look before you leave and go to your next destination.
