A Journey To Key West and Dry Tortugas
For my birthday in September, we decided to go to Key West. All of us have never been, a bit embarrassing since it is technically in Florida, which is our home turf. We only had a couple of days, so here’s a brief itinerary and a review of what we did and where we went. In the hopes that you can do it too! Getting In There are three ways to get in to Key West: you can either fly (they have a regional airport), get in by ferry from Fort Myers (an option we were looking at before), or drive (longer, but definitely scenic). Orlando’s Chocolate Kingdom Touring Chocolate Kingdom Chocolate Kingdom is located near Orlando’s International Drive. Tucked away in a small hotel complex close to the convention center, it…

Weekend at Holiday Inn Club Vacations Orange Lake
It was another weekend, meaning we’re off to another adventure! This time, we decided to go back to Orlando to try the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Orange Lake Resort, one of the biggest hotel complexes we had ever been! What follows is a review of the property and at the bottom is our cost table. First off, we booked this hotel because it seemed like a great deal and was listed as one of the best uses of IHG points at a few other travel blogs I follow. When the price of the hotel was $130 and had all these amenities plus a chance to get more points c/o of…
